Setting up a paypal subscription

PayPal subscriptions are a great way to set up recurring payments. But they can be confusing if you do not understand how they work.

When you purchase a Hosting package subscription with recurring payments you select the subscription from our catalog and then are transfered to the PayPal website where you your payment details are securely entered.

While our catalog/shopping cart is used to select the subscription, the recurring subscription payment transaction is processed by PayPal, our payment processor. Our catalog instructs PayPal to create a recurring subscription which will charge your account and make a payment to Robert Maxim at specified periods. The details of the amount to be charged, frequency, and your credit card or banking information is securely stored by PayPal. Robert Maxim has absolutely no access to or control over this information.

If you change or cancel your subscription with Robert Maxim, you will need to log into your PayPal account and change your PayPal subscription. It is not possible for us to edit your subscription. If you need to change your payment particulars, you will need to cancel the first subscription and create a new one for the correct amount, payment date or period.
