Map & Directions Page

Map

We will setup a dynamic Goggle map for your location as part of the new website setup fee. This is a map created by Google and displayed in your website.

Driving Directions

To help customers find your location you can provide a written description of how to get to your location. It is best to refer to street names and distances from intersections. Building descriptions, business names, or local landmarks are usually unreliable reference points as they rely on local knowledge and can change over time. Providing directions from different directions or major roadways is also beneficial.

We also include a link to Google's Driving Directions utility so your customers can get turn-by-turn directions to your location form anywhere.

With the growing popularity of GPS you can also display coordinates for your location.

Map Page Shortcut Links

Links to individual Google maps which show directions from common local areas or landmarks to your shop can be placed in the area above the map. These links take the viewer to maps on Google's website with a highlighted route from point "A" to your shop at point "B". Turn-by-turn directions are provided with distances between each turn.

We provide this as an optional paid service. You provide locations for each shortcut link and we create and place the links on your map page.
