E-mail policy

E-mail Limits

There is a 300 per hour smtp e-mail limit per domain. If you send over this amount in any hour most of the e-mails will bounce back with a undeliverable error.

Our servers also enforce a limit of 60 POP3 checks per hour per email address. If you go over this you will get a wrong password error message saying 'login incorrect'. Please wait an hour and the e-mail server will automatically unlock. To prevent this from happening again make sure to disable auto checking or at least set it to 10 minute interval or higher.

Mailing Rules

  1. Sending of e-mail messages must be throttled. We recommend a minimum throttle of one (1) email every six (6) seconds. Anyone who causes server overload will have their account suspended.
  2. Please sent large E-mail batches during off-peak times to prevent high server loads. Off peak times qualify as 1am - 6 am eastern time.
  3. You are not allowed to send unsolicited e-mail. This is considered spamming because the e-mail address owners did not agree to receiving e-mail from you. Any unsolicited e-mail sent from your account will result in termination of your account.
  4. We have a zero tolerance stance to sending of unsolicited e-mail. Do not use purchased or 'borrowed' e-mail lists!
