Simplified policy version:
RMI works on a payment before services provided policy. We do not provide credit to our customers. This is done to keep costs down and simplify the operation of our business.
Most services are performed for a fixed cost and our preferred payment method is the PayPal payment system. For services charged by the hour we can provide an estimate of cost and payment can then be made before the work is started. Payment balance adjustments are made as work progresses.
Payment Policy Full version:
In consideration for the services and products ("service") purchased by the Customer (You) and provided to You by Robert Maxim International Inc. ("RMI"), You agree to pay RMI in advance or at the time service is provided.
Payment is to be made by You by Paypal, an eCheck, bank check, or other prearranged payment method.
Personal or business checks and money orders may only be drawn on a Canadian or USA registered banking institution or Government agency. Checks and money orders are restricted to a minimum of $250. All check or money order payments can be delayed up to twenty-eight (28) days until the check is cleared by your bank and the money is deposited into our account. Please allow sufficient time for this banking process which may delay your usage of the product or service purchased. Any check that is returned due to non-sufficient funds (NSF) will result in a minimum $25 NSF fee in addition to associated bank fees or charges.
If You purchase an automatically renewing service or product by Pre-Pay, it is Your responsibility to make payment arrangements for each renewal payment to ensure the payment is received in sufficient time in advance of the renewal date.
Payments are non-refundable (except unused Pre-pay balances). If for any reason RMI is unable to charge Your payment method for the full amount owed RMI for the service provided, or if RMI is charged a penalty for any fee it previously charged to your Payment Method, You agree that RMI may pursue all available remedies in order to obtain payment. You agree that among the remedies RMI may pursue in order to effect payment, shall include but will not be limited to, immediate cancelation of any services provided, purchased, registered or renewed on Your behalf without notice to You. RMI reserves the right to charge a reasonable service fee for administrative tasks outside the scope of its regular services. These include, but are not limited to, customer service issues that cannot be handled over e-mail but require personal service, and disputes that require legal services. These charges will be billed to the Payment Method we have on file for You. You may change your Payment Method at any time by notifying RMI, in writing, 30 days in advance of any payment due.
Payments are applied to your account in order of oldest outstanding amount first.
This Payment Policy is an excerpt of the greater Terms of Service Agreement. If any dispute or misunderstanding arises, the greater Terms of Service Agreement shall over rule this Payment Policy.
